Zahra Pictures and Producer Ahmad Zahra are seeking Muslim American Men and Women with compelling stories who would like the opportunity to be featured on a morning television show airing daily on the Hallmark Channel. This program will allow Muslims to reach out with their stories to an American mainstream audience and present Islam in a positive way.

9/9/04 Zahra Pictures to begin producing segments for Hallmark Channel morning show...
Zahra Pictures has just signed a deal with Faith and Values Media to produce segments for their morning television show "New Morning" airing daily on the Hallmark Channel. This half hour show features stories from the lives of ordinary people and their spiritual experiences. Until now this show has mainly focused on Judeo-Christian traditions, however, Zahra Pictures will begin producing segments (stories) on a regular bases for this program that specifically focus on Muslims and their Islamic faith traditions. Each segment will revolve around the life of an ordinary Muslim American who can inspire viewers with his or her story thus projecting a positive image of Islam to a mainstream television audience.

8/15/04 Zahra wraps production on a new documentary on Syria...
Ahmad Zahra just wrapped production on a new documentary, currently titled, Syria: Land Beyond Time. This documentary film will take us on a journey to a land rich in culture and history, from Ugarit, birth place of the alphabet to one of the oldest cities in the World, Damascus. Zahra spent eight weeks filming throughout Syria from historic sites to religious ceremonies in addition to some rare footage from the Syrian television archives. This film is now in post-production and scheduled for release in 2005.

8/15/04 On Common Grounds to screen on the Hallmark Channel & Bridges TV...
On Common Grounds will premier on the small screen on the Hallmark Channel on October 17th at 12 noon P/E as part of the weekly show "The World of Faith and Values." It will broadcast at a later date on the new Bridges TV launching November 30th. On Common Grounds is also available on Home Video.

Zahra Pictures has joined ranks with investment firm TalaCorp headed by Orange County based business man Mohannad Malas. This move will allow Zahra Pictures to expand its production and distribution capabilities to several productions per year. Additional developments and a new line up of upcoming productions will be announced at a later date.
